Thai Food

Gai Pad Pongali

Chicken, onions, tomatoes and peppers are brought alive with a delicate Thai yellow curry paste. What makes the dish spectacular is the egg that is cracked into the dish to curdle and thicken all the ingredients. A generous portion of parsley is added for extra flavor and its unique taste.

My Opinion : Chicken with curry Fragrant with spices and chicken that tastes delicious

Kao Moo Dang

Another popular comfort food that is widely available is kao moo dang. A plate of rice is covered with Thai barbecued thinly sliced pork, a few slices of Thai sausage and half a hard-boiled egg. A thick red barbecue sauce or gravy is smothered all over the rice and pork and then sprinkled with cilantro and green onions. The result is an un-spicy but very sweet dish that is a great late night treat.

My Opinion : Pork rice with pork and vegetable soup

Kao Min Gai

The chicken rice of Thailand may not be as famous as Singapore's, but it is still a popular comfort food. Boiled chicken is chopped onto a plate of rice made from the fatty chicken stock. The garlic chili vinaigrette to accompany is incredible and the dish is always served with a light chicken soup. It can often be ordered with fried chicken as well (kao man gai tod).

My Opinion : Chicken rice is very delicious

Thai Food

Hor Mok

While these folded packets are a delight to serve in small numbers, for a larger group the leaves can be folded into a large boat shape and the mixture steamed in larger portions with an extended cooking time.

My Opinion : It's delicious

A very hearty dish, this can also be served as a complete meal.

My Opinion : It's Delicious and get plenty

Panaeng Nuea

Its rich thick sauce helps to make this a very popular dish. Try replacing the beef with chicken for an interesting variation.

My Opinion :  It's good and get nutrients from pork and spices.

Thai Food

Kai Med Ma Muang

Pardon the pun, but tourists go nuts for this stir fried dish. Perhaps it's the wildly contrasting textures of a dish that saut's chicken alongside roasted cashews, sweet soy sauce, onions, chilies, pepper, carrot and mushrooms. Perhaps it's the sweetening dash of honey that appeals. Do you really care? The important thing is that this dish works: it's simple but scrumptious, a little bit tame and yet still totally Thai.

My Opinion : Nuts and nutrients from chicken protein.

Pat Kraphrao

Phat kaphrao is a fast, easy and spicy dish which is popular with the people of downtown Bangkok. The dish comprises beef, chicken or seafood stir-fried with the aromatic herb holy basil (bai kaphrao), chilies and garlic, and served on plain boiled rice. Depending on the customer, a fried egg is often added too.
Holy basil is widely used in Thai and South Asian cuisine as well as in various herbal treatments. It is used in ayurvedic remedies for colds, headaches, stomach disorders, inflammation, heart disease, certain types of poisoning and malaria. The plant also exhibits anti-bacterial and insect-repellant properties and is a sacred plant in the Hindu religion. Phat kaphrao is definitely worth trying.

My Opinion : Stir basil with many nutrients such as chili, meat and vegetables that contain vitamins.

Spicy beef salad

If there was such a thing as a 'Salad Hall of Fame', Thailand's zesty own breed, or 'yam' as they are known here, would surely take pride of place. Unconvinced? Experience the fresh, fiery thrill of yam nua - with its sprightly mix of onion, coriander, spearmint, lime, dried chili and tender strips of beef - and you won't be. It perfectly embodies the invigorating in-the-mouth-thrill of all Thai salads, the yummy-ness of yam.

My Opinion : There was pork protein and vitamins from the vegetables.

Pad thai

From Cape Town to Khao San Road, the default international Thai dish! Dropped in a searing hot wok, fistfuls of small, thin or wide noodles (you choose) do a steamy minute-long dance alongside crunchy beansprouts, onion and egg, before disembarking for the nearest plate. A truly interactive eating experience, half its fun (and flavour) lies in then using a quartet of accompanying condiments - fish sauce, sugar, chilli powder and finely ground peanuts - to wake it from its slumbers.

My Opinion : Pad thai is a nooddles of thailand and delicious and have a nutrient.

Khao pad

Fried rice, egg, onion, a few herbs - nothing more, nothing less. A popular lunch dish served typically with a wedge of lime and slices of cucumber, the secret of this unpretentious dish lies in its simplicity. The concept is this: you're the one devouring it, so you dress it. To do so, Thais use everything from prawns, crab or chicken to basil, chili and left-over vegetables, in the process turning an unremarkable pauper into a gastronomic prince

My Opinion : Khao pad have a nutrient and vegetable and Shrimp.

Red Curry

Made with morsels of meat, red curry paste, smooth coconut milk and topped off with a sprinkling of finely sliced kaffir lime leaves, this rich, aromatic curry always gets those taste buds tingling. At its best when the meat is stunningly tender, it could be likened to a beautiful woman: it's mild, sweet and delicately fragrant. And like all true love affairs, absence makes the heart grow fonder.

My Opinion : Red curry smell spices eat and delicous and spicy
